These Heavy Duty, Tall Tripods (also known as Sticks or Legs) are used throughout the film industry.
A tripod is a portable three-legged frame or stand, used as a platform for supporting the Weight and maintaining the stability of the camera head.
The three-legged (triangular stance) design provides good stability against gravitational loads as well as horizontal shear forces and better leverage for resisting tipping over due to lateral forces can be achieved by spreading the legs away from the vertical centre.
They are manufactured of 260mm high-quality aluminium alloy tubing and are finished in an olive green anodising. They come with a Mitchell / Moy Mount.
The mounting plate is machined out of a solid aluminium billet. This provides a super strong and stable mount.
They are designed to be extremely durable and are manufactured to last.
Both polished and anodized, with nylon locking pads and stainless steel spikes
Locking levers and castings are stove enamelled with a black texture finish.
Tripods come with a spreader which is also manufactured of high-quality aluminium with aluminium locking handles. Polished and finished in olive green anodising.
Both Tripods and Spreader come in a custom-made case which has been manufactured from moulded AVS with woven nylon straps and a carry handle.
